About Kalo Space
Kalo Space is where I publish practical guidance on work and organisations, for people who want to understand how work affects them, and for managers and organisations responsible for how work is organised.
My name is Josilda Kola and I hold a BSc in Psychology and an MSc in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I have worked in human resources with private companies and international organisations.
There is a substantial body of knowledge built in work psychology and HR about how people experience work and how organisations can support them. What is often missing is access to that knowledge in the form of practical, effective tools and guidance that an individual or a manager can pick up and use in their daily work. I created Kalo Space to fill that gap, drawing on my training and professional experience. I develop resources that are clear to use and that stay faithful to the evidence behind them.
My work addresses the points at which people and organisations meet: workload and stress, burnout and recovery, leadership and team practice, and the structures and habits that make work sustainable. It currently takes the form of published guides, toolkits and articles, and it will develop further over time, including in work with organisations. Enquiries are welcome at hello@kalospace.com.
